It's all in your mind
Yoga is training for your mind, breath and body... in that order of priority. It's not just about flexibility and relaxation, although they are handy.
As an endurance enthusiast, you want to push your limits and get out of your comfort zone. That's why you scale mountains, run for hours or swim far. Adventure pulls you out of a comfortable, mundane life for a few hours or days of awe and suffering. It's what keeps you sane!
Yoga helps you see that ultimately there are no limits, aside from the ones in your mind.

Why are you here?
- You feel light-headed and a bit panicky during your exercise
- You get short of breath - perhaps with wheezing and coughing - and dread showing up for training
- You have a regular stuffy nose, hay fever, rhinitis and colds
- You're not sleeping well
- You're training hard but not seeing much improvement
- You're burning out because you're cramming a lot of training into your busy life
- You have a frustrating repetitive injury that means you're missing out on competitions and scared of losing fitness
What do you want?
You want to comfortably breathe without wheezing, coughing or getting a blocked nose. You want to feel less self-conscious about breathing.
You wish you could enjoy your sport again, like you did at the start. You want to feel calm and focused, not dizzy and stressed. And when it gets tough, you want to dig deeper.
You need someone or something to help you rein-in the drive to go hard all the time. You want to better understand how to recover with quality rest. You need an alternative way to relieve stress and get headspace so you're not using exercise alone as therapy.

What I can offer
I can help you;
- Stop over-breathing so that you can comfortably breathe with your nose and diaphragm, even if you're getting short of breath or dizzy during exercise now.
- Maximise your oxygen efficiency to go further and faster using techniques that help me set 5 UK records
- Identify and ditch the stories and beliefs that are limiting your performance
- Slow down, have more quality rest and take yourself less seriously (this is my life's work too!)
- Restore your natural mobility - that's flexibility + strength even at the edge of your range of motion.
- The best way to prevent injury is train your body to expect the unexpected (through active play) rather than repetitive movement that your body is prepared for.
Meet Rebecca
I've done many sports in my life - swimming, showjumping, running, triathlons - but not to the level as I've reached with breath-hold swimming, a.k.a. freediving in the pool.
As a competitive freediver I set 5 UK records, swimming almost 4 Olympic pool lengths (189m) on one breath. I won the UK pool championships in 2014 and represented the UK twice at the World Championships in 2013 and 2015. I gave it all I had, but unfortunately I pushed through what I thought was a benign virus and came out the other end a bit of a wreck. I lost my dream goal of reaching the World finals and winning a medal, and yes the judgement from my inner devil was pretty awful. I was so ashamed I didn't want to talk about it for several years. Until now - because I dearly want to help others in that position bounce back more quickly than I did. I've learnt the hard way that rest IS training. That I could've trained less but smarter. And how amazing it would have been to talk to other athletes in the same position to feel less isolated and ashamed. Freediving has also taught me a unique training approach; all of which I share with you through my classes, workshops and courses. These include:

Through my classes and courses, I share all I've learnt through my years as an athlete, Type A worrier, yoga sports coach and breathing specialist. There are options for in-person private or group sessions, or an online course.
